Running a web server on my Beaglebone & RaspberyPi development boards allows me to easily create applications to monitor and retrieve data from the web, that is without any constraint on the distance to the user.

Principle:

One of my development board is connected to the local network and is accessed over the web.

Here is part of the results of my master's degree final project: probing temperature - atm. pressure - luminance - air and soil humidity rate.
