RedPitaya based SAW sensor reader:
Following the achievements made on this development board we quickly moved the SAW sensor reader unit application to this cheaper board.
The system follows the same principle exposed the previous page: SAW Sensor reader unit based on the Zedboard.
My RedPitaya generating the 80ns pulse feeding the RADAR, the output is displayed on the scope.
The whole system is made of a hardware I/Q demodulator and a RF switch, which is fed by the FPGA each 8 us with a 8ns pulse. We are sampling the echoes @125MS/s.
